The REA Zurich City Trip is a selective three-day programme designed to bring together REA members from across European chapters. The programme is built to offer direct exposure to leading firms in Zurich and Switzerland while also creating a highly valuable networking environment among ambitious, like-minded members with a serious interest in real estate and investment.
Through a curated set of company visits and in-house sessions, participants will gain insight into how leading firms in the market operate, while also building meaningful relationships with both professionals and peers.
We are planning 8 sessions across Wednesday to Friday, with participation from UBS, Edmond de Rothschild, Blackstone, Schroders Capital, Partners Group, Julius Baer Real Estate, JLL and BNP Paribas. As final details and availability are still being aligned on the partner side, the programme will be updated continuously.
- BNPP – Site Visit (09.00–11.30)
- Blackstone – Guest Lecture hosted on the campus of Uni Zurich (12.30–14.00)
- UBS – Office Visit, Asset Tours and informal drinks at a bar (15.00–17.15 (open-end))
- Edmond de Rothschild – Site Visit (09.00–10.00)
- Schroders Capital – Office Visit (11.30 – 12.30)
- Julius Baer – Office Visit and Asset Tours (13.30–15.00)
- JLL – Office Visit (16:00–19:00)
Friday
For Friday, the group will probably be split in two for the formal activities, given logistical constraints on partner-side.
- Partners Group – Trip to their HQ and Office Visit (still aligning on exact timing)
- Schroders Capital (still aligning on exact date+timing)
Informal programme is designed around these formal events, bringing together the group of REA members coming from across 12+ chapters.
- Applications for this event are open
- All attendees will be confirmed on Wednesday, September 2nd
- The exact programme is still being developed and this page will be updated continuously
- Registered members will also receive programme updates by email
- Participants are expected to arrange their own travel and accommodation
- German/French fluency is not required.
Because the programme is selective and company-facing, participants will be chosen not only based on interest, but also on fit, motivation, and professional readiness.
